Travis Chao is a visual artist based in Los Angeles. His work explores the intersection of moving image, sound, and natural elements, often focusing on water, fog, and light as subjects of both observation and transformation. Rooted in traditional filmmaking but expanded through experimental processes. His practice centers on the emotional possibilities of visual rhythm, texture, and audiovisual synchronization. Reflect marks his first public exhibition exploring the space between image, sound, and perception. His current work, Lightform moves toward sculpting light as a material, shaping space and emotion through image, reflection, and illumination.
